PURE ANALOG MAGIC
As per the original design, the ISOMax 3 features top-quality components, including gold-plated connectors, tight-tolerance hand-matched polyester film capacitors, precision metal film resistors, and fast low-noise opamps. Each component was carefully chosen during the design phase to deliver superior sound quality, enhancing the clarity and depth of the signal passing through it.
FILTER CURVES
The filters are based on a commonly known S-K topology - however, they are differentiated by steeper slope characteristics, resulting in an audibly sharper response of the curves. Even though they represent a 24dB/oct roll-off, their knee resembles that of a 36dB/oct filter, which contributes to a smooth, filter-like sound in addition to classic isolation, especially during cuts.
PRECISION AND FLEXIBILITY
Even if such fully analogue filters are not perfect, we've done everything to provide an exceptional audio performance, delivering a sound that's as close to the original as possible. We made sure that the internal circuitry is designed to achieve the lowest phase distortion ever while keeping the mid-band polarity in-phase with the rest of the signal. Besides that, we've used detent-free potentiometers for precise level adjustments of each band around the zero point. This ensures each adjustment is unique, making it impossible to return to the exact same position - every touch is one-of-a-kind, offering a truly personalized audio experience.

The ISOMax 3 is powered by an external wall-wart type PSU with detachable mains prongs, making it highly versatile. The new system allows users to select the appropriate prongs based on their current location, and in just a few seconds, the correct ones can be attached.
