THE ALL NEW ISOFILTER™
The Model X4 mixer incorporates a totally new way to shape sound: a unique approach with a master IsoFilter™. It combines both analog HPF and LPF filters, as well as a 2-way L-H isolator. The HPF filter cuts out the bass with a touch of resonance at the end of its travel, reaching over 1600 Hz at its maximum, while the LPF filter gently attenuates all the highs and mids, reaching almost 180 Hz at the bottom of its scale, making the remaining lower frequencies sound phenomenal with tons of energy. The overall joy of using these knobs - especially in the provided classic horizontal orientation - is almost endless, as are the possibilities for combinations that may occur.
FROM SIGNAL TO SILENCE
Our new rotary mixer features ultra-precise isolating equalizers on each of its four channels. These EQs allow you to cut the signals almost completely, with over 95dB of attenuation, and offer a boost of up to +10dB in specific frequency ranges. Each band has a gentle 12dB/octave slope, which we have found to be perfect for blending a wide variety of music genres seamlessly. Additionally, these controls can be used together with the master IsoFilter™, resulting in highly creative effects that aid in mixing and add an artistic, one-of-a-kind touch to the music.

MASTER OVERDRIVE CONTROL
One of the most popular guitar-style effects in the world, the overdrive, is now being incorporated into our Model X4 mixer. It can be used as a creative effect, especially in studio work and for impacting the sound of samples, but also during standard DJ sessions, particularly when used with IsoMax filters. The desired effect may differ depending on the overdrive amount - gentle settings allow for introducing subtle harmonics, adding a specific polish to the overall sound and making it thicker and more pronounced, whereas in contrast, heavier settings engage a tape-like saturator that is ideal for lo-fi sessions. The warmth and character of the Model X4's overdrive saturation are unlike anything that has existed before.
SEAMLESS MONITORING: THE QUICKMIX™
The Model X4 is equipped with an innovative method of signal cueing. Besides the selectable cue sources, there is a constant feed of a clean mix signal, the amount of which can be adjusted with the cue mix knob. Additionally, there is a specially routed signal under the QuickMix™ button, which engages the post-insert, post-IsoFilter™ routing, simultaneously disengaging the cue/mix mixing. Hearing both the pre-insert and post-insert signals leads to more precise signal monitoring, insensitive to the changes occurring throughout the insert path. All of the switching is done via a single push of a button, enabling complete master monitoring without interrupting the cue/mix balance. Now you can more easily beatmatch your records, without any worries about the inserted FX processor and its impact on the master signal.
SEMI-FLOATING BALANCED LINE DRIVER
The newly developed balanced line driver allows you to operate the Model X4 mixer in both balanced and unbalanced modes, depending on your current needs. Thanks to its high output current capability, our mixer ensures reliable signal transmission over vast distances, as it easily handles even the most demanding and complex load types. Whether you're broadcasting in a large venue, streaming online, or sending signals to studio recording equipment, rest assured that your audio will reach its destination with pristine clarity and highest fidelity.
INTELLIGENT VU METERING
Despite having only two rows of LEDs, the Model X4 features an intelligent way of signal metering, depending on the operation mode selected for optimal signal monitoring: when no CUE buttons are pressed, the LEDs display the pre-insert stereo mix level. As soon as any of the CUE buttons are pressed, the right row shows the pre-insert mix level while the left row indicates the CUE mix level. When the QuickMix™ button is enabled, the LEDs display the post-insert, post-IsoFilter™ signal directly. This metering method ensures precise monitoring of your audio signals, as the VU meter adapts seamlessly to different mixing scenarios. Accurate signal levels are always displayed for perfect audio control.
DUAL FX INTEGRATION
The Model X4 can now have two different FX units connected at once: parallel-type ones (send/return) and serial-type ones (master insert). Whether you're looking to apply mastering processors or add character with outboard gear, the serial effects routing opens up a world of creative possibilities. The return channel can also be used as an additional 5th channel, to which any line-level device can be connected. This means you can patch in an additional audio source, such as a drum machine or synthesizer, expanding your mixing capabilities without sacrificing any of the main channels. From parallel effects processing to additional channel expansion, our mixer gives you the power to create truly unforgettable mixes by enabling the freedom to experiment.
AB-CLASS HEADPHONES AMPLIFIER
Although the Model X4 mixer’s topology is primarily based on opamps, it also includes circuits that use transistors, such as the class AB headphones amplifier. While its distortion levels are not as low as those achieved with high-quality opamps, this design choice has a significant advantage — it is practically insensitive to large loads and the low impedances of connected headphones, ensuring that the music sounds dynamic and clear regardless of the chosen volume level. Additionally, the amount of power provided offers significant headroom for use in various conditions, even where very high volume and performance are required.
SILKY SMOOTH CONTROL
The core of a perfect rotary mixer is its channel mix potentiometers. Above all, we ensure that the Model X4 features the best ones available on the market. It's a super important factor to have the unique curve of such potentiometers, as we really know how difficult it might be to mix using highly linear controls (where the signal appears instantly) or very deep logarithmic curves (where the signal rises very quickly at the end of the fader's travel) - not anymore. The curve of our potentiometers is super balanced, allowing for a smooth start and an equally smooth end of the travel - this is achieved by using specially designed cermet potentiometers that are IP66 rated and can withstand over 1 million cycles of mechanical life. The control over the sound has never been any better.
PLUG & PLAY ANYWHERE
The Model X4 is powered by an external desktop-type PSU with detachable mains lead, making it highly versatile. This system allows users to select the mains lead with an appropriate plug based on their current location, and easily attach the correct one within seconds. With its widely adaptable power source, you can focus on delivering an outstanding performance without worrying about mains compatibility issues, especially during international travel or touring.
